I recommend having your maternity shoot between 32 and 34 weeks. You can contact me any time during your pregnancy to book your session.

The session can take place either in my home studio in Glossodia or at an outdoor location within the Hawkesbury region. There are several beautiful parks and reserves to choose from.

Simple and comfortable are most important! Try to avoid bold patterns or stripes as they can be distracting and hide your beautiful belly! White flowing skirts with a tube top or singlet is lovely. Dresses ofcourse are beautiful! Neutral colours work well with all locations – creams / tan etc. Its a nice idea to show your bare belly in at least some of the photos although this is your choice. I also offer lingerie and elegant nude / partial nude shots. I have a few sheer fabrics which can be used in the studio sessions as well as a few gowns. If you are having a studio session and are considering including some images using the sheer fabrics or are wanting the ‘nude’ look, I would suggest bringing light coloured and dark coloured underwear. A tan gstring is best when aiming for the nude look as the strap is much easier to edit out.

This is completely up to you. If you would prefer to have them visible to show the true nature of your pregnancy experience this is completely fine. If you would prefer to have them removed in the editing process this is also fine. Just let me know which you would prefer.

Definitely! Its a great idea to include your partner and any other children in some of the images. This is a special time for all of you!

After the session, i will edit the photos and send them to you via dropbox. The editing process generally takes around 2 weeks.  I may upload a small selection of your images to my facebook / instagram page or website as a sneak peak before you receive your images.  You are welcome to share the images that I upload amongst your family and friends by sharing the album or tagging yourself. Just let me know if you don’t want your images shared.
